Floods

As well as being a complete waterproofing and damp proofing system the Cavity Membrane system is also used to control and redirect flood water. Systems can be designed which work with flood gates bund walls and sumps and pumps to drain floodwater and protect buildings that are affected by floods

Preperation

Cavity membranes are used in cellars and basements that are completely flooded. The basement is drained and the drainage system and pump is installed.

Damp Pressure Equalisation

The studded structure of the membrane allows the water behind the membrane to move in all directions unhindered, into the drainage channel and off to the sump. The product does not divert the problem to other areas.
