The garage building
is derelict and the chalk cob walling
had suffered from extensive water
penetration as a result of a defective
roof and sand cement rendering.
LSE supplied chalk
blocks and cob material to site and
carried out extensive repairs to the
walls.
After a period
of drying the walls were rendered
with a lime putty mortar.
