Rivermead House

Developments needed to dig the basement
out by a further 800mm to increase
the head room for accommodation.
Other schemes were considered but
the LSE scheme was the only one that
could be guaranteed for materials
and labour by the installation company
and have a 10 year insurance backing
which is renewable every 10 years.
The LSE scheme complies fully with
BS8102.
The membrane system was installed
to all the walls. The walls were then
lined with battens and insulation
ready for plaster boarding and plastering
by LSE plasterers.
The floors were covered with a fully
sealed MS20 membrane over a perimeter
drain in a shingle filled trench all
discharging into 3 double sump pumps
with alarms and battery back up.
The floor was finished with a 3:1
