Little
Acres Stage 1
Little Acres was
a large hole in the ground which was being turned into a luxury house with
a large basement which was to be a
cinema and games room.
The excavation filled with water...
To comply with BS 8102 the ground
was drained by means of pumps,
sumps and land drainage. The outside
of the building was
encapsulated with MS 20 below the
slab (Shown being installed) and Geo Drain
over the walls to stop any pressure
of water.
The pictures show LSE water proofing
staff installing MS 20 onto the slab.
Concrete slab reinforcement on the
MS20.
The inside was lined with System
500 on the walls and MS 20 on the
floors with drainage to a large
external sump and pumps.
