The Armoury

The armoury at Tidworth for the MOD was suffering from rising and penetrating damp in all walls. The building also suffered from the effects of condensation.

Maclennan-LSE installed Delta cavity drain membrane to all of the walls which completely damp-proofed the walls ready for plastering.
The walls were very cold as a result of the damp. Maclennan-LSE adhered thermal insulation boards over the PT with adhesive.

The completed walls were now warm and dry and air vents were installed into the outside walls to allow moisture evaporating from the walls to escape.
