Maclennan-LSE Surveyors are qualified at the institute of wood science as certified surveyors of timber treatments. Maclennan-LSE carry out full timber surveys and provide reports on defects and where necessary a full specification and programmes for remedial work's.

Maclennan-LSE are approved installers of John Newton's waterproofing systems, as well as many Tanking systems. Maclennan-LSE are 'setting the standard' for the damp proofing and water-proofing of old and new buildings. Our membrane waterproofing system designs comply with BS8102. Our damp proofing system allows traditionally built buildings to breathe and can be plastered with lime mortar plaster.

Maclennan-LSE are approved installers of HELIFIX crack repair systems and wall ties. Our structural repair department carries out work on major building sites and small domestic properties to strengthen and repair masonry and to replace corroded cavity wall ties. The systems are often used as an alternative to underpinning.

Maclennan-LSE
repair department carry out all forms of timber repairs. Our fully qualified
carpenters use Rotafix and Property Repair Systems resins to carry out
repairs to timber frames and beams where traditional repairs are not
possible. All the repairs are approved by English Heritage and
conservationists.
